Analysis, Design of Shock Isolated Shipping Container

Summary of Statement of Work:
DBA performed dynamic analysis of a shock isolated shipping container base with an 800 lb. assembly attached.

Analysis simulated displacement, shock transmitted to the assembly, damping, and resonant frequencies resulting from simulated drop and collision with a fixed object.

Analytical results led to design improvement to insure compliance with customer requirements for shock isolation.

DBA updated the customer concept, created an assembly drawing and all detail part drawings required for manufacture, including wood enclosure.
